Notes on Cooking Time and Cooking Temperature
Please note that all of the stated cooking temperatures and cooking times are
rough guidelines. As ingredients differ in terms of their origin, size, shape and
brand, we cannot guarantee the optimum setting for your ingredients. The actual
cooking times may therefore vary depending on the portion size and the cooking
temperature which is set. Please check before serving that your food is completely
cooked through!
Homemade Chips
Portions: 2
Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes
Cooking time: approx. 28 minutes
Ingredients:
approx. 500 g potatoes (waxy)
1-2 tbsp. Oil
Seasoning: salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks of equal size.
2. Thoroughly wash the potatoes and then dry them off.
3. Insert the basket insert into the device.
4. Place the potato sticks into the stirring basket and pour 1-2 tbsp. of oil evenly
over them.
5. Set the cooking temperature to 200 °C.
6. Set the cooking time to approx. 28 minutes.
7. Your chips are cooked when they are golden brown and crispy. Reduce the
temperature if necessary if you have the feeling that the chips are becoming too
dark. If your chips are not cooked after the 28 minutes are up, extend the cook-
ing time if necessary.
8. Finally add salt to your chips to taste.
