Voor ongeveer 2 koppen (500 ml)
Ingrediënten:
4 middelgrote rode bieten
1 hele knoflook
2 eetlepels citroensap
1 eetlepel mierikswortel
¼ kop (60 ml) heldere olijfolie
zout en versgemalen, zwarte peper
Te serveren met:
Turks brood
Bereiding:
1. Verwam de oven voor op 200 °C. Was de rode bieten zorgvuldig en laat deze
uitlekken. Snijd de uiteinde van de hele knoflook weg en leg dit samen met de
groenten op een bakblik. Besprenkel alles met olijfolie. Bak de groenten gedu-
rende 30 minuten. Dan haalt u de knoflook eruit en laat deze afkoelen. Bak de
rode bieten nog zo'n 15–20 minuten, totdat ze zacht zijn. Haal de bieten uit de
oven en laat deze afkoelen.
2. Als de rode bieten zijn afgekoeld, verwijdert u de huid en snijdt u deze in stuk-
ken. Verwijder ook de rest van de knoflookteen, zodat u alleen de knoflook over
houdt.
3. Doe de rode bieten, de knoflook en de rest van de ingrediënten in de blender-
kom. Sluit de blenderkom met de deksel. Mix de ingrediënten met de snel-
heidsinstelling 2/CHOP tot alles goed gemengd is. Verwijder eventueel voedsel
dat aan de wand van de blenderkom is blijven zitten.
4. Serveer de dip met Turks brood.
