Converting the machine to rear ejection (Illustration U2 + S1 )
Pos: 23.18 /Innenteil/Mähbetrieb/Umbau als Heckauswurfmäher Text BBC @ 29\mod_1394097215837_1521.docx @ 229347 @ @ 1
Switch the cutting deck off.
Lift the ejection flap.
Remove the mulching plug from the channel U2 .
Hook the grass collecting bag in the bracket provided on the mower housing S1 .
The mulching blade system does not have to be converted! The capacity of the
collecting bag can be reduced under difficult mowing conditions (e.g. wet grass).
For the equipment to be used as a mulching machine again, the mulching plug must be
installed again. To do this, switch the cutting deck off, remove the grass collecting bag,
insert the mulching plug into the ejector channel and close the ejector flap.
Clean the ejector channel first.

IMPORTANT
During cleaning and maintenance work, always close the fuel tap A , tilt the
mower forwards O (spark plug facing upwards). If it should become necessary
to place the mower on its side, then place it on the exhaust side, never on the
carburetor side, as otherwise start-up problems could occur.
When tilting the mower forwards make sure the ejection flap does not get
damaged. Secure the mower in its raised position!
NOTE
When tilting or placing the mower on its side, ensure that no oil or fuel comes out
of the machine. Fire hazard!
Remove dirt and grass residue immediately after finishing mowing. Use a brush or cloth
to clean.
NOTE
Do not put your fingers into the openings of the fan housing and hold onto the
fan. If the blade bar is rotated during cleaning, there is a risk that your fingers
may become caught between the fan and the fan housing!
IMPORTANT
Never use a pressure cleaner or ordinary water jet to clean the drive section,
motor parts (like ignition system, carburettor etc.), and bearings. Damages or
expensive repairs can be the consequence of such action.
IMPORTANT
If the underside of the mower is accidentally cleaned with water, immediately
start the motor again and turn on the blades. Any remaining water may damage
the components (e.g. ball bearings), thus allow the coupling to operate for
several minutes to ensure that the water is thrown out of the components.

Always keep the machine in a clean condition in a closed, dry room out of reach of
children. Always allow the engine to cool down before you store the machine in a
closed room.

For space-saving storage space or for transportation, open the quick releases,
loosen the wing nuts / handle nuts such that the handlebar can be folded together
without resistance in Z-shape above the engine A1 .
The locking cams on the lower end of the bar have to snap out of the holes
in the housing.
Do not kink nor squeeze the throttle cables in the process.

CAUTION
When the bar is moved for transport and storage purposes, the bar may fold over
unintentionally during opening of the quick releases, loosening of the wing nuts
and snapping of the locking cams out of the holes in the housing. In addition,
crushing spots can occur between the base and top of the bar and the housing.
This may result in risk of injury.
