8 m (314.96 inches) length
greater than or equal to 1.2 m
(47.24 inches)
The width of 1.2 m refers to the dis-
tance of the boundary wire. The
boundary wire is crossed by the lawn
mower 0.2 m on both sides when mowing.
Connecting the boundary
wire to the charging station
Illustration :
When laying the boundary wire
(11), leave it 0.5 - 1 m longer than
required to have wire left over for
corrections.
1. Strip approx. 10-15 mm of both ends
of the boundary wire (11) using cable
strippers.
2. Feed the cable end of the boundary
wire (11) arriving at the charging sta-
tion from behind through the groove
(28) under the charging station (17).
3. Clamp the wire end of the boundary
wire (11) that extends away from the
front and encloses the lawn area to be
mowed with the right-hand slot (luster
terminal with orange clamps pointing
upwards) of the luster terminal (11.1).
Clamp the cable end of the boundary
wire (11) that extends away to the rear
with the left slot (luster terminal with or-
ange clamps pointing upwards) of the
luster terminal (11.1).
4. Fold the cover (23) upwards.
5. Insert the luster terminal (11.1) into the
contact sockets (25/26) on the charg-
ing station (17).
6. Connect the mains plug (15) to the
power supply.
7. Check the LED (27) on the charging
station.
If the LED (27) lights up green, the
boundary wire (11) is connected to the
charging station (17) correctly.
Do not place the “protruding” re-
mains of the boundary wire togeth-
er. This can lead to faults and failures in
the lawn mower’s operation.
Fixing the charging station
The operating range indicator (30)
on the charging station must be lo-
cated within the restricted lawn area.
Illustration :
1. Loosen the mounting screws (12) and
the hexagon socket (12.1) from the
frame.
2. Place the charging station bumper (18)
on the side of the charging station with-
in the bounded lawn area.
3. Secure the charging station and charg-
ing station bumper (18) in the ground
with the mounting screw (12).
The mounting screws (12) are screwed
into the ground with the enclosed hex
key (12.1).
Initial start-up
Switching on the lawn mower
1. Press and hold the START button (3)
for approx. 3 seconds until the display
(10) lights up.
2. Set the desired language. Select with
the arrow buttons (6) and con rm the
selection with the OK button (7).
3. Set the date and time with the arrow
buttons (6).
Con rm the selection with the OK but-
ton (7). The individual positions can be
navigated with the OK button (7) (skip
the right).
