Notes:

• If the baby unit 1 is in Eco-Mode and the

parent unit moves out of range, the

connection indicator 20 will light up red.

You will also hear a beep every 30

seconds.

A red warning symbol will appear

on the screen.

• As soon as the parent unit 17 comes

back into range and the reason for the

interrupted connection is eliminated, the

connection indicator 20 lights up green

and the units are able to communicate

again.

Noise level indicators 22

The noise level indicators 22 above the

screen, consisting of four green LEDs and

one red LED, indicate the level of sound in

baby's room. They react differently,

according to the set VOX level (sensitivity).

The more LEDs light up, the louder the

sounds in baby's room.

Attention! The noise level indicators are

switched off while the lullabies are playing,

because the device cannot distinguish

between the lullabies and baby sounds. You

will also be able to hear any sounds baby

makes in the background while the lullabies

are playing (see "6.11 Lullabies" on

page 67).

6.3 Using the main menu

The main menu at the bottom of the screen

allows you to switch the available functions

on or off or change settings:

1. The main menu appears when you press

the button 26.

2. Use the 24 or 27 button to select

a menu item.

The selected menu item will be shown in

red.

3. Press the button 26 again to open the

menu item and view the possible settings

or submenus.

4. Use the 25 or 28 button to select a

setting or a submenu item.

The selected item is marked with a

green asterisk.

5. Press the button 26 to confirm

the setting you have selected or open the

selected submenu.

6. You can press the button 27 to exit

the current submenu and return to the

previous submenu.

7. To close the opened menu:

– wait 15 seconds without pressing any

buttons, or

– confirm a setting you have selected by

pressing the button , or

– select the EXIT option in the main

menu and confirm this by pressing the

button 26.

6.4 Screen brightness

You can adjust the screen brightness and

the brightness of the video to suit the

prevailing light conditions. In very light

conditions, you should set a higher screen

brightness to improve visibility. In low light,

you might feel uncomfortable with too bright

a screen. Adjust the screen brightness lower

in this case.

1. Press the button 26.

The menu bar with the main menu will

appear at the bottom of the screen.

2. Use the 24 or 27 button to

select the Brightness menu.

The selected symbol will be shown in red.

3. Press the button 26 to view the

submenu.

4. Use the 25 or 28 button to select

the brightness you require.

The more bars you can see, the higher

the screen brightness. You have a choice

of 5 levels.

5. Press the button 26 to confirm your

setting.
