Once he turns 3 years old, baby can eat the same things you make for yourself, as long as they
are cooked in a natural way, without frying and too much dressing. Remember also to provide
the right calories and nutrition for the baby, paying attention to portion sizes and the right
variety of food.
Recipes for 3 + years
INGREDIENTS
300 g pasta
250 g minced beef
½ onion (approx. 50 g)
½ carrot (approx. 40 g)
½ celery stick (approx. 5 g)
1 table spoon of extra virgin
olive oil
250 g tomato sauce
½ glass of vegetable soup
(approx. 50 ml)
It is possible to cook up to
500 g of meat to prepare
the ragu for later use
Pasta with ragù
FULL MEAL
2 ADULTS AND 1 BABY
Cooking method:
Clean, wash and dice the vegetables, place them in the container
with the blades; close the lid. Chop for 20 seconds (first set the
handle to the lowest setting, then increase the speed to position
8). Add 2 table spoons of oil, press the COOK button at 2 and mix
at position 2 for 5 minutes; add the meat, a pinch of salt and leave
to brown for another 5 minutes, always mixing.
Finally, add the tomato and continue cooking still at 2 for 5
minutes, then lower to 1, always mixing slowly. Let it cook for at
least one hour, continuing to mix. If the sauce gets too dry, add
some more soup.
Cook the pasta; pour the water in the container until it reaches
level 1.5 with the mixing blade installed; add salt.
Press the COOK button at 3 (always remove the stopper from the
lid). When the water is boiling, add the pasta, lower the setting to
1, set the timer to the cooking time indicated on the pasta packet
and set the handle to position 2. Drain the pasta and mix in the
ragu.
INGREDIENTS
250 g rice
150 g asparagus
½ onion (approx. 50 g)
50 g Parmesan
50 g butter
700 ml soup
2-3 table spoons of extra
virgin olive oil
chopped parsley
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
Asparagus risotto
FIRST COURSE 2 ADULTS AND 1 BABY
Cooking method:
Place the onion in the container with the blades and chop for 15
seconds (first set the handle to the lowest setting, then increase
the speed to position 8); collect the onion from the sides of the
container using the spatula, then chop for another 10 seconds.
Remove the blades and replace them with the mixing blade.
Pour 2-3 table spoons of oil, press the COOK button at 3 and
brown for 2 minutes, mixing at position 1. Cut up the asparagus
and place it in the container together with the rice and soup; bring
to the boil at 3, after which reduce to 1 and cook for a further 15
minutes, always mixing slowly. 2 minutes before the end of coo-
king time, if you wish to whisk the rice add a knob of butter and a
little Parmesan, continuing to mix slowly. Add the chopped parsley
and serve.
