Adjusting the front
wheel
The following two setting opti-
ons are available.
The front wheel can turn
freely:
Setting ,
The swivelling front wheel
makes it easier to steer the
high grass mower, for in-
stance in order to avoid ob-
stacles.
The front wheel is fixed:
Setting ,
Fixing the front wheel makes
it easier to mow at right-an-
gles to a slope and in uneven
terrain by increasing the di-
rectional stability.
For working in tall vege-
tation, the height of the
6= front wheel can also be
adjusted.

NOTE
Guide folding retainer 26
through the top bore of the
wheel axle for all settings.
Setting , :
Insert
27= folding retainer through
bores in the
7= spacing ring and rotating
axle.
Setting , :
Insert
27= folding retainer through
bores in the
2= front suspension and ro-
tating axle.
Attach the
7= spacing ring between
the wheel and the
2= front suspension. It is ad-
justed using the
8= folding retainer.
(The two folding retai-
ners 8 are identical, the
designations 26 and 27
are only used to illustrate
the settings).
Step
Pull out
C= starter cable slowly to the
point of resistance and
then pull sharply to arm’s
length.
Slowly release the cable
so that it is rolled up
properly.
Repeat steps 2 to 4 until
the engine starts.

Stopping the engine
To stop the engine,
release the
P= motorstop and blade stop
lever.
The engine and the blade
come to a standstill in
less than three seconds.

Step
Press down the
P= motorstop and blade stop
lever (red lever) and hold
against the handlebar
handle. Hold handle and
lever securely.

Top up engine oil before in-
itial start (oil dipstick). Do
not start the engine in high
grass or when the mower is
set to the lowest cutting
height.

position.

54= fuel cock.
