4. OPERATION
The ON/OFF switch
Fig. A1 & A2
• For starting up the apparatus, press the on/off switch (1) and keep it pressed.
• If you release the on/off switch (1), the apparatus is switched off.
Switch lock
You can lock the on/off switch by pressing the on/off switch (1) and then the button (5).
Release the switch lock by briefly pressing the on/off switch (1).
Always set a low speed to mill workpieces made of synthetic materials. The
heat produced by a high speed will cause the synthetic material to melt,
producing messy work results.
Set the machine down after the motor has come to a complete standstill. Do not place the
machine on a dusty underground as dust particles may penetrade the apparatus.
Please always observe the safety instructions and keep to the pertinent
regulations.
Use
Always wear protective goggles and ear protectors when working!
Hold the machine on the workpiece in idle position when you switch the machine on or off.
The milling cutters in the clamping chuck could damage the workpiece.
• Clamp the workpiece or secure it in any other way that it does not slip during the
work.
• Hold the machine steadily and pass it over the workpiece evenly. Do not exert
excessive pressure on the machine.
• Do not use any worn milling cutters. Worn milling cutters have a negative influence on
the effectiveness of the machine.
• At the end of the work, always switch off the machine before you remove the mains
plug.
Speed selection
Use the hand wheel (13) to pre-select the required speed. The speed can be set also
during operation.
1 - 2 = low speed
3 - 4 = medium speed
5 - 6 = high speed

müssen an den dafür vorgesehenen Recycling-Stellen abgegeben werden.
