Max. = maximum speed
The speed required depends on the material and can be determined by testing in practice.
In addition, milling cutters with large diameters need low speeds.

After a longer period of working at low speed, run the machine in no-load mode at high
speed for some minutes to permit the machine to cool down.
Height adjustment of the router cutter

Use the turning knob (14) to set the maximum height of the router cutter. The milling
depth then becomes a fixed setting. This is required primarily when using the apparatus
on a milling machine table.
Quick adjustment:
• Release the clamping lever (11), but keep it pressed. The router cutter can be pushed
downwards against the spring pressure.
• Hold the turning knob (14) between thumb and index finger.
• Press in the grey button on the turning knob (14), and at the same time push the
router cutter down with the other hand.
• Release the knob. The router cutter is locked and will not move up any further.
Fine adjustment:
• Turn the turning knob (14) clockwise. The router cutter moves down slowly in this
case.
• Turn the turning knob (14) counterclockwise. The router cutter moves up slowly in this
case.

The milling depth can be set by means of the knobs (8), (9), (15) and clamping lever (11).
Given correct adjustment of the milling depth, the requested groove can be milled with an
accuracy of 0.1 mm.
