AUDIO Setup
■ You must select DVD operation mode by pressing the [DVD] button on the remote
control.
Select a digital output.
Set output conditions to coaxial or optical
terminal. You can set following three values of
digital output;
• Bitstream: The same signal as audio signal
recorded in disc goes to digital audio output
terminal.
• PCM: Pulse-Code Modulated signal goes to
digital output terminal.
• Off: No output goes to digital audio output
terminal.

Select Dual Mono.
Dual Mono means 2 individual mono channels.
Dual Mono is mainly used to apply 2
different languages to one program. This
function is similar to multichannel sound
function supported in TV or VCR. 2 mono
channels can be combined into total 4 values;
Stereo, L- Mono, R- Mono and Mixed Mono.

While DISC STOP or Resume STOP, press [SETUP/ENTER] button.

• Stereo: outputs left channel and right channel to left speaker and right
speaker respectively.
• L- Mono: outputs left channel to left speaker and right speaker.
• R-Mono: outputs right channel to left speaker and right speaker.
• Mixed Mono: mixes 2 mono channels and outputs the mixed channel to left
and right speaker at the same time.
