1. Insert the round core and round sleeve into the turntable.
2. Center clay disk on sleeve and press the sides to form the clay
around the sleeve. Avoid pressing too hard on top edge. If holes or
cracks form, don’t worry - you can patch with a piece of clay.
3. Turn the machine to “|” (slow) and spray the clay with water.
(10-12 sprays)
4. Cup your hands around the clay and apply strong pressure on each
side. Keep working the clay down to the base until clay becomes
smooth and even.
5. When satisfied with your design turn machine to “0” (off), and use
the knife tool to trim excess clay from the bottom. Add decorative
details using the knife and sculpting tools. (Store extra clay in a
resealable plastic bag to prevent clay from drying out.)
6. To remove your project, remove turntable from machine and press
down onto work surface. Your project should lift off from the
turntable. Slide the flat side of the knife under the sleeve if it is not
lifting.
7. To avoid cracking, remove the round core and wait 15-20 minutes
before removing the soft sleeve. This is the bottom of your
cupcake.
8. To make top part of cupcake, flatten a ball of excess clay on plastic
wrap or wax paper and cut a circle that is a bit larger than the
bottom of the cupcake.
9. Punch holes in the clay circle using the large coring tool and place
the circle over the cupcake bottom and pinch the edges together
to hold in place. Use the sculpting tool to smooth surfaces. Don’t
worry if the holes seem larger when joining.
10. Completely dry overnight before painting.

3. Placer l'interrupteur sur | (lent) et vaporiser l'argile avec de l'eau
(10-12pulvérisations).
4. Placer les mains autour de l'argile et appliquer une forte pression
sur chaque côté. Mettre les mains autour de l'argile et appuyer
fermement sur chaque côté jusqu'à ce que l'argile soit lisse et
uniforme.
5. Une fois la forme souhaitée obtenue, placer l'interrupteur sur «0»
(OFF) et utiliser l'outil à évider pour enlever l'excédent d'argile au
bas de la poterie Ajouter des détails décoratifs en utilisant l'outil
de sculpture et l'outil à évider. (conserver l'excédent d'argile dans
un sac en plastique hermétique afin d'éviter qu'elle ne se
dessèche.)
6. Pour détacher la poterie, retirer le plateau rotatif de la machine et
l'appuyer sur le plan de travail. La poterie devrait se détacher du
plateau rotatif. Faire glisser le côté plat de l'outil à évider sous la
gaine si elle ne lève pas.
7. Afin d'éviter les fissures, retirer le moule rond et attendre 15-20
minutes avant de retirer la gaine souple. Le bas du cupcake a été
ainsi formé.
8. Pour former la partie supérieure du cupcake, aplatir une boule
d'excédent d'argile sur du film plastique ou du papier ciré et
découper un cercle un peu plus gros que le bas du cupcake.
9. Percer des trous dans le cercle d'argile à l'aide du grand outil à
évider et placer le cercle sur le bas du cupcake. Ensuite, réunir
les bords pour les maintenir en place. Utiliser l'outil de sculpture
pour lisser les surfaces. Pas d'inquiétude si les trous semblent
plus grands lors de l'adhésion du cercle d'argile.
10. Laisser sécher complètement jusqu'au lendemain avant de
peindre.
