Travel Adjustment
Observe safety instructions!
The distance over which the drive mechanism moves the door can be
increased/reduced by using the cut-out buffer Check that the door
opens and closes completely. If it does not, its travel must be adjusted.
•
Loosen cut-out buffer (4), move it and tighten it until the door
closes. Check the final travel position by opening and closing
the door. If necessary, repeat this process until the door closes
completely.
•
Loosen cut-out buffer (1), move it and tighten it until the door
opens. Check the final travel position by closing and opening
the door. If necessary, repeat this process until the door opens
completely.
Observe safety instructions!
- Never put your hand near the door when it is moving or
near moving parts.
- Keep children and handicapped persons away from the
door.
- Do not drive into garage until the door has completely
openend.
- Do not use the manually-operated remote control near
locations or installations that are susceptible to radio
interference (airports, hospitals).

Operation

For your own safety, the force value must be set as low as
possible so that obstacles can be detected quickly and reliably.
•
Repeat test operation until door reaches its upper and lower
final travel positions.
•
Put housing cover (2) back on and secure by tightening
screw (1).
Testing the Force Adjustment
When the force is correctly set, movement of the door in both
directions can be stopped by exerting slight hand pressure.
Note: each time the door moves, the drive mechanism
automatically reads in the appropriate required force value.

Safety Devices

Opening the door
Press switch (1) or button of manually-operated remote control
once. The door stops moving if this button is pressed again
while the door is opening. If the button is pressed again the
door closes.

Closing the door
Press switch (1) or button of manually-operated remote control
once. The door stops moving if this button is pressed again
while the door is closing. If this button is pressed again the door
opens
•
Pulse sequence during movement of door:
Open door - Stop door - Close door - Stop door - Open door -
and so on.
Garage Door Drive Mechanism without Extended
Function
Removal of pressure on door after closing can be controlled
Back-jump function:
Short, approx. 10ms = jumper on 2+3
Long, approx. 70ms = jumper on 1+2
Garage Door Drive Mechanism with Extended
Functionality
The plug-in screw-type terminal offers additional connection
facilities:
Test Operation:
•
Press switch (1) once
Door closes until limit switch is reached.
•
Press switch (1) once
Door opens until limit switch is reached.
•
If door fails to reach its final travel position, the force value
must be increased.
•
Turn potentiometer (1) approximately 10 degrees clockwise (5).
- Radio remote control must only be used after a non-
hazardous force value has been set on the garage door
drive mechanism. This force value must be set low
enough to ensure that the closing force poses no risk of
injury (see Section entitled „Force Adjustment“).
- Keep the manually-operated remote control in a secure
place to prevent it being operated accidentally, e.g. by
children.
