Installing the Garage Door Drive Mechanism
Determine the door’s highest up-position:
Open the door and measure the minimum clearance between
the upper edge of the door and the ceiling. This clearance must
be at least 30 mm. The lower edge of the C-rail must be higher
than the door’s highest up-position.
The garage door drive mechanism can be installed on the lintel
(S) or on the ceiling (D).
Measure the door forward centre point (VM) and mark it on the
door and lintel or ceiling.
Make a mark 74 mm to the right and left of the door centre point
(VM) at the same height on the lintel or ceiling (see Figure 16).
Drill two holes (Ø 10 x 65 mm deep).
Caution: check the thickness of the ceiling
Open the door, transfer the mark from the door centre point
to the ceiling (HM), close the door.
Insert wall plug (1), lift garage door drive mechanism (2) at the
front. Secure retaining catch (3) at the front with two screws
(4) and plain washers (5).
Lift garage door drive mechanism at the back.
Align ceiling bracket (1). Its location must be in area (B).
B = 0 bis 600 mm
Use a non-slip, stable stepladder.!
Align garage door drive mechanism horizontally relative to HM.
Mark position of holes. Drill two holes (Ø 10 x 65 mm deep).
Caution: check the thickness of the ceiling
Insert wall plug (1). Prepare two screws (2) with plain
washers (3) and tighten the screws securely.
Align C-rail (4) at correct height. If necessary, move screws
(5).
Assemble push rod (1):
insert bold (2) and put on retainer (3).
Pull once on emergency release cordl (N).
This unlocks bogie truck (1).
Use push rod (2) to push bogie truck (1) all the way forward
(3). If necessary, loosen cut-out buffer (4) to do this.

question.
Wear safety glasses when drilling!
Insert 5 hexagon head cap screws (6) and tighten them
securely.
Loosen cut-out buffer (4) and push firmly on bogie truck (7).
Tighten screw of cut-out buffer (4).
Loosen rear cut-out buffer (1) and push it back as far as the
stop (2). Open the door (3) by hand.
Shorten the ceiling bracket if necessary (4).
Push cut-out buffer (1) onto bogie truck (5) as far as the stop
(6). Tighten the screw on the cut-out buffer.
Installing the Slip Door Safety System and
Emergency Release Lock
There is a slip door in the door but no slip door safety system - install
a slip door safety system (see instructions for accessories).
There is no slip door in the door and no second entrance to the
garage - install an emergency release lock or Bowden pull wire as an
external release device (see instructions for accessories).
Installing and Connecting the Switches
The user must not be in the door’s area of movement
when the switch is operated. The user must have an
unobstructed view of the door.
Install switch (1) in an appropriate, easily accessible
location in the garage. Minimum height from
