Installing the Socket-outlet
•
Install socket-outlet (1) on the ceiling no more than 0.5 m away
from control unit (2).
•
Install and connect the connection cable from the socket-outlet
to the mains power supply. Do not plug the connector into the
socket-outlet yet!
Observe the applicable VDE Regulations!
Installing the Aerial Cable
Do not modify the length of the aerial cable. Do not attach!
the aerial cable to objects that are live or made of metal.
•
Install aerial cable (1) as shown, depending on the vehicle’s
direction of apprach.
Programming the Manually-operated Remote Control
This procedure is identical for the mini hand-held transmitter (2
commands) and the manually-operated remote control (5 commands).
Danger!
Unplug the connector from the socket-outlet
•
Open the manually-operated remote control
•
Remove screw (1). Take off housing cover (2).
•
Pull out controller (3).
•
Plug in manually-operated remote control (1) on controller (2).
Observe safety instructions!
Danger! risk of short-circuits
Do not touch any live parts!
•
Close the door
•
Lock the bogie wagon:
Pull once on emergency release cord (N).
•
Remove screw (1). Take off housing cover (2).
•
Turn potentiometer (1)(P1) anticlockwise as far as it will go (4).
Plug the garage door drive mechanism connector into the
socket-outlet.
If filament lamp (2) does not flash - clear the
previously read-in force values:
•
Keep code relaying key (3)(T1) pressed for three seconds
until filament lamp (2) flashes.
Release code relaying key (3)(T1). Force values have
been cleared.
If filament lamp (2) does not flash - read in force values:
•
Press switch (1) once
Door opens without stopping until limit switch is reached
•
Press switch (1) once
Door closes without stopping until limit switch is reached
•
Press switch (1) once
Door opens without stopping until limit switch is reached
•
Force values for opening and closing have been read in -
filament lamp is lit.

Electrical Connections
Observe safety instructions!
- The supplied power cable must not be shortened or extended.
- The voltage of the power source must match the value indicated on
the garage door dirve mechanism’s rating plate.
- All apparatus that is externally connected must have contacts with
safety separation from the mains supply in accordance with IEC364-
4-41, Sub-clause 411.1.3.1
- Live parts of the drive (energised parts) must not be connected to
earth or live parts or protective conductors of other circuits.
- When installing the conductors of external apparatus, observe the
requirements in IEC 364-4-41, Sub-clause 411.1.3.2
Initial Operation
•
Reassemble the manually-operated remote control by
performing above operations in reverse order
Force Adjustment
The garage door drive mechanism has an automatic force adjustment.
The controller automatically reads in the maximum force values as the
door moves „open“ and movess „closed“. This force value is the result
of the automatically learnt force and an additional force tolerance that
can be set by using the force potentiometer. When the potentiometer is
turned anti-clockwise as far as the stop, the additionally tolerated force
is approximately 1.5 kg, when it is turned clockwise as far as the stop,
this force is approximately 18 kg. If these force values are not sufficient
for the door to open and close completely, they can be increased as
•
Select desired button of manually-operated remote control on
which the command is to be programmed. Press that button of
the manually-operated remote control, keep it pressed until LED
(4) is no longer lit. This means that the programmed code has
been transferred from the controller to the manually-operated
remote control.
