E. Installing Forward Facing

The top anchorage strap (tether) is used for the
forward-facing position only.
NOTE: We strongly recommend that you use the top
anchorage strap (tether) in the forward-facing position. If
your vehicle does not have an anchor bracket, please see
your dealer or a qualified mechanic and have one installed.
The top anchorage strap (tether) can greatly improve the
performance of this child restraint.
Storage of Top Anchorage Strap (tether):
When top anchorage strap
(tether) is not in use, attach
top anchorage strap’s
hook to storage location as
shown.

To tighten; After the child
restraint is locked into place
with LATCH or vehicle belt,
put knee in child restraint

Do not twist the belt.

NOTE: Review your vehicle’s owner manual for LATCH belt use.
Do not use the LATCH system along with the
vehicle belt.
Check LATCH belt before each use. Use only if
the belt is tightened properly and securely.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in
serious injury or death.
Do not use the lower anchorage system
(LATCH system) to attach this child
restraint when restraining a child weighing
more than 40 lbs (18 kg) with the internal
harnesess of the child restraint.
