12.1.2 Error-log
The PCB stores the errors in its memory.
By using the 2 buttons at this PCB, you can read out the error-log.
Facts & functions of error-log
- Control lower switch => read the stored errors backwards
- Control upper switch => start at latest stored error
- Control upper switch for 10 sec. => delete error-log
- Errors are only stored when the lift is controlled by armrest left/right or remote up/down.
- Maximum of 20 errors can be stored.
- The end of the error-log is shown as a minus
Example.
If you had a problem and you read back the errorlog you could read for example;
E38, E38, E45, -
The E38 shows that somehow the level motor shows overload problems.
The E45 shows that the system needed calibration of all sensors.
( it is normal, when you have a new system, the lift had generated a E45 fault, see chapter 5.4)
When you read back the errorlog of the main drive you could read.
2, 2, _ , E97, E97,_ , _ , _ 2, 2, E98, -
The error 2 points at a possible failure at the swivel seat switch.
The underscore shows that the lift did show any problems for some days.
The Error E97 means that the main board received a fault form the sensor control board and that the
main board does not have to generate the technician needed beep.
The Error E98 means that the main board received a fault form the sensor control board and that the
main board needs to generate the technician needed beep.
Combined log
You can combine both logs in 1 log, cause the E97 and E98 error are set by the errors measured by the
sensor control board.
Main board log 2, 2, _ , E97, E97,_ , _ , _ 2, 2, E98, -
Sensor control board log E38, E38, E45, -
=================================================== +
Combined log 2, 2, _ , E38, E38,_ , _ , _ 2, 2, E45, -
Again the error 2 points at a possible failure at the swivel seat switch.
The underscore shows that the lift did show any problems for some days.
The E38 shows that somehow the level motor shows overload problems.
The E45 shows that the system needed calibration of all sensors.
