13. Error-handling for the user of the chairlift
13.1 Operating the chairlift
The chairlift will not start to move directly when operated , it will start to drive after 2 seconds of
operating.
Before starting to drive a 0,5 second beep will be heard. (start-to-move-signal)
When the chairlift is stopped on a endpoint a 0,25 second beep will be heard. (endpoint-reached-
signal)
If the chairlift is stopped on another location on the rail no endpoint-reached-signal will be heard
When you reverse the control direction, there will be a 2 sec delay between stopping in and moving in
the opposite direction.
13.2 Logic of the LED in the armrest
The LED can show the following logic.
The Led is on continuously The chairlift is switched on and the batteries will be
charged. (lift is positioned on charging contacts)
The Led is blinking once every sec. The chairlift is switched on and the batteries will not
be charged.
The Led is blinking fast (5hz) The chairlift is switched off by the PCB, because the
battery power is low. Control the chairlift downstairs
and stop it on a charging point.
The Led is blinking once every 3 sec. The chairlift is switched off by the PCB, because there
was no alternating signal form the rmu for 30 cm.
(rotation monitor unit)
By re-controlling the chairlift will move further.
The Led goes off when controlled The chairlift is also controlled on a other location
The Led off continuously The chairlift is switched off.
If the LED is off, this could have several causes.
By operating the lift for 2 seconds, the LED will blink a number of times after the control is released.
If in this case a fast beep will be heard, till 10 seconds after releasing the control, a technician is
needed to solve the problem. (technician-needed-beep)
The Led blinks 0 times. The keyswitch in the armrest is switched off.
(keyswitch is an option)
The Led blinks 1 time The armrest-switch is switched off.
The Led blinks 2 times The switch of the swivel seat is still
operated. Check the position of the seat and
locking handles.
