Die Pads nehmen keinen
Schmut z mehr auf.
Die Pads sind voll mit Schmut z und können keinen weiteren aufnehmen.
Wechseln Sie die Pads aus.
Es tret en Wasserflecken auf Das Ger ät ist nicht ausreichend aufgeheizt . Wenn Sie die höchste
Dampfs tufe ver wenden, verbleiben Sie nicht zu lange auf einer Stelle,
um das Bilden von Kondens at (Was sert ropfen) am Boden zu vermeiden.
Im erhaltenen Ger ät befinden
sich Wasser tropf en im T ank.
Um Ihnen die bestmögliche Qualit ät zu gewährleist en, werden alle
Geräte bei der Produk tion getes tet. Dadurch befinden sich noch
Wasser rücks tände im Gerät. Die se ist völlig normal und s tellt keinen
Defekt d ar .
Die Pads drehen sich nicht . Überpr üfen Sie, ob die Rotation ak tivier t ist.
Die Pads wurden nicht r ichtig angebracht . Schalten Sie das Ger ät ab und
lassen Sie e s abkühlen. Ziehen Sie dann die Pads er neut ab und bringen
Sie die Pads dann wieder an.
Kann man mit dem Ger ät
T eppiche reinigen?
Nein, wir empfehlen nicht, da s Gerät zur Reinigung von T eppichen zu
ver wenden.

• Check that the mains volt age corre sponds to the informat ion on the type plate of the applianc e.

• Do not leave the appliance unat tended while it is plugged in. Unplug the power cord when the applianc e is
not in use and before ser vicing.

• Never pour hot water or other liquids, e.g. alc ohol-based liquids or detergents, int o the water tank. T his
makes operation uns afe and will damage the appliance.
• Keep the ste am outlet unobstr ucted at all times . Keep the vents free of lint , hair , or any other possible
blockage to ensure a proper s team flow.
• Use of acces sories no t supplied or sold by the manufactur er may result in fire, electr ic shock or injur y .
• Liquid or vapour should not be dir ected toward equipment cont aining electric al components, such a s oven
interior s.
• Do not expose to rain.
• If you obser ve water leakage, c ease use of the appliance and cont act a qualified technician.
• Do not use the appliance in an enclosed spac e where flammable, explosive or toxic fumes , such as paint
thinner or oil paints, c ould be present.
• Do not use on leather, wax-polished furnit ure or floors, or parque t floors, synthetic fibr es, velvet or other
delicate mater ials sensitive to water vapour.
• Remove the plug from the mains before under t aking maintenance and cleaning wor k.

• Use the appliance only for the pur pose intended.
• Caution should be exercised when using t he appliance due to the emission of s team.
BEFORE FIRS T USE (#2-3)
Before fir st use, remove any stickers, pr otective films or pro tective cover s.
WARNING: Ple ase make sure the appliance is unplugged before a ssembling it or changing acce ssor ies.
1. Att aching the mop head to main unit (#2): P lace the mop head on the floor. Now push the end of the
main unit onto the connector on t he mop head until it snaps into place. Do not use for ce, and pay attention
to the pins on the plug connec tion.
2. As sembling & fixing the telesc opic pole (#3): The t wo part s of the aluminium tube of the telesc opic
pole are pre-as sembled. Open the telescopic pole lat ch and pull out the thinner pole of the tube, then fix
the telescopic pole into plac e by closing the telescopic pole latch. A ttac hing the handle: Now at tach the
handle to the thinner end of the tele scopic pole, making sure that the t wo pins on the handle engage in the
two hole s on the telescopic pole.
3. Att aching the tele scopic pole to the appliance (#4): Now inser t the telesc opic pole into the upper
opening on the main appliance, paying at tention to the semicircular notche s on the telescopic pole. T he
snap lock on the rear side of t he telescopic pole must point back wards.
4. Adjust ing the telescopic pole (#5): Open the tele scopic pole latch and slide the telesc opic pole in/out
to the desired leng th. Fix the telesc opic pole in place by closing the telescopic pole snap lock .
5. Att aching the pads (#6): T he microfibre pads are at tached to the mop head w ith 4 Velcro fasteners
each. Place t he microfibre pads on the round pad holder s and firmly pres s the edges of the pads .
USE
Floor sur face s such as marble, cer amic, stone, linoleum, sealed hardwood floor s and real wood parquet c an
be cleaned with t he Living ton Steam Twister .
Filling and inser ting the water t ank (#7):
1. Push the water tank r elease button abo ve the water tank upwards to allow r emoval of the water tank .
2. T urn t he water tank upside down and open the t ank's screw cap. Now fill the t ank with water . Use the
measur ing cup if neces sar y. Do not remove the metal ball or hose from the w ater tank . Make sure
the met al ball in the water tank is always f ully immersed in water dur ing operation.
3. Close the water tank w ith the screw cap. Inser t the water t ank back into the appliance, making sure t he
tank snaps fir mly into place.
Note : Ordinar y tap w ater can be used for the L ivington Ste am T wister. However , in are as with hard water,
we recommend using distilled water f or better per for mance.
Note : In cer tain c ases, the v isible hose in the water tank c an be kinked. This impairs t he operation. You
should remove the kink from t he hose.
TIP: For a par ticular ly fresh scent when cleaning, we r ecommend using the Liv ington steam sc ent. This is
available as an additional acce ssor y. Part icularly suitable f or households with pets. S imply add 2 to 3 squirt s
into the appliance's water re ser voir .
Switc hing on & using the appliance :
1. Plug the power cord int o an ear thed mains outlet. Pres s the steam but ton. The applianc e will now star t
heating up, the temper ature display will flash red while it is he ating up and the appliance will begin to tick
after a c ert ain period of time has elapsed. Onc e the temperature is re ached, the temperatur e indicator
will tur n solid red and the green vapour indicator w ill light up. The first s team level is now acti vated.
Note : The applianc e may drip from the time it is s tar ted up until the tar get temperature is re ached. This
is not a malfunct ion, but a normal par t of the heating-up proc ess. To stop the ste am emission, switch the
appliance off using the on/off switch.
2. Steam level regulation (#8): You can choose bet ween 3 steam intensit ies.
• GREEN steam indic ator (Level 1): T he first ste am level is automatically acti vated after he ating up. The
steam level indic ator lights up green.
• BLUE steam indic ator (Level 2): Pre ss the ste am button again ( for the second time), the s team level
indicator light s up green and the medium steam level is ac tivated.
• RED steam indic ator (Level 3): Pre ss the ste am button again ( for the third time), t he steam level
indicator light s up red and the stronge st steam level is act ivated.
• T o tur n off the steam, pre ss the ste am button a four th time.
3. Act ivating the rot ation: T o acti vate the rotat ion of the pads, pres s the rotat ion button af ter selecting the
steam level . Disabling the rot ation: Pres s the rot ation button again to de activate the r otation.
Note : Y ou can de activate both t he rotation and t he steam completely, for example dr y polishing without
steam but wit h rotation, or cle aning surf aces with st eam only and without rot ation. The rot ation can only
