To delete one or more wireless devices

To delete a device, click on wireless devices, click on the icon ( ) and then on ( ) next to the name of the device

to be deleted.

At this stage you can choose whether to cancel or continue the operation (conﬁrm twice).

Cameras

Depending on the version of the control panel, a certain number of IP cameras can be set.

To be precise:

• lares 4.0 - 16 / lares 4.0-16WLS: 4 IP cameras.

• lares 4.0 - 40 / lares 4.0-40WLS: 12 IP cameras.

• lares 4.0 - 140 WLS: 20 IP cameras.

• lares 4.0 - 644 WLS: 30 IP cameras.

To program the IP cameras, click on the icon (

) and then on the symbol ( ). From this moment onwards, it is

possible to set the parameters of the device.

The parameters available for IP cameras are:

• Description: the name given to the device (e.g. street side cameras etc.).

• Partitions: the partition (or partitions) to which the camera is associated (for example to limit the vision to some users

e.g. in a system built in a semi-detached villa)

• IP address: IP address (local) of the camera.

• Brand: you can choose between different brands (Axis, Dahua, Hikvision, Ksenia etc.), which already have the "instant

url" parameter set. If desired, you can also customize the parameters of the IP device (contact the manufacturer's

assistance team).

• Instant URLs: the string (URL) to send to the camera, in order to receive a “snapshot”, that is a jpg image.

If the camera is selected from the “brand” menu, this parameter will be conﬁgured automatically.

In some cases it will have to be conﬁgured manually (contact the manufacturer’s assistance).

• Internal port: the port inside the LAN on which the camera is located.

• External port: the port outside the LAN network.

• Authentication type: enables or disables Basic authentication. If the Basic authentication is enabled, the camera

requests you to enter a username and a password in order to allow the visualization of the images: remember to enter

your credentials to log in.

To add another IP camera click on (

) and then on the symbol ( ); otherwise, to end the session,

click on ( ).
