■ To cancel the delay start, hold down the PROGRAM button
for more than 2 seconds or by pressing on
the ON OFF button .
5b – AROMA
■ The AROMA function increases the length of the cycle to produce a more intense coffee.
■ Press the AROMA button (O) to select the intensity of your coffee. Fig. 17.
■ The AROMA button (O) lights up.
■ The function is stored in memory for the following cycles.
■ To cancel the AROMA function (O), press the AROMA button (O) again.
5c – 1 - 4 CUPS
■ This function is especially intended for preparing small quantities of coffee, from 2 to 4 cups. It improves aroma
extraction.
■ To activate this function, press the button (P) before starting the cycle. Fig. 18.

1 - 4 function, press the button again.
■ To remove the used grounds, remove the filter and filter holder from the coffee maker. Fig. 20a and Fig.
20b.
■ Discard the coffee grounds and the filter paper. Fig. 20a and 20b.
■ Do not clean the appliance if it is still hot.
■ Wash the removable filter holder using hot soapy water.
■ Handle the thermal jug with care: add some washing-up liquid and water, and then gently shake it. Stains
can be removed using a soft brush. Use a non-abrasive sponge.
■ If the jug is heavily stained by coffee, fill it with boiling water. Add a dishwasher tablet and let it soak for
around an hour. Next, rinse it thoroughly.
■ Never put the jug in the dishwasher and do not immerse it in water.
WARNING: Do not use the thermal jug in a microwave oven.
Do not put the parts of the coffee maker in the dishwasher.
■ Clean the coffee maker using a damp soft cloth or sponge. Never use abrasive or strong products on any
part of your coffee maker.
■ To clean the stainless steel parts of your coffee maker, moisten a soft cloth or sponge with hot water. Wipe
them well using a dry cloth.
■ For stubborn stains, use a cloth with some white vinegar.
■ Do not immerse the appliance in water or under the tap.
■ Why is Descaling Important?
- Limescale builds up naturally in your coffee maker. Descaling helps to protect the coffee maker, ensure a
longer service life and consistently high-quality coffee over time. Limescale may permanently alter the
appliance's performance.
■ The guarantee does not cover coffee makers that malfunction or cease to operate because they
have not been regularly descaled.
■ When Is It Time to Descale?
- Whenever descaling is required, the indicator light of the CLEAN button (Q) will turn on.
- The frequency of descaling depends on water hardness and the number of coffee cycles. When users
observe signs such as extended cycle lengths, intense boil-off, loud noise levels at the end of the cycle or
stoppage during a cycle, this means that the machine is furred up.
