isrotatedforward(directiongear
#14),thantherearshiftcable14is
pulled. Whenthetwistshifteris
rotatedbackward(directiongear
#1),thanthefrontshiftcable1is
pulled.
Thecablestoppers1and14are
fitted,sothattheshiftcablesrun
paralleloutofthetwistshifter. The
cablestopper1hasitscableexit
holedirectlyinthemiddle. The
cablestopper14hasitscableexit
holepositionedtotheside.
Slidethetwistshifterontotheright
handsideofthehandlebars
(diameter22.0mm-22.3mm)and
turntheshiftercasing,sothatthe
twocablestopperssitevenlyon
bothsidesofthebrakelever.
Removetheclampscrews(M5 8-
2.5mmallenkey),lightlygrease
themandrefitthemtoclampthe
twistshiftertothehandlebars
(tighteningtorque:1Nm/8in.lbs.).

justpastnumber14.
Theflairedendtotheliners
mustbemountedbetweenthe
cablehousing andthehousing
caps atthetwistshifter. Thisis
importanttopreventthelinerfrom
beingpulledintothecablerun
itself.
