Move the black pirate ship one square
towards the Viking village.
• The grey ship?
Move any ship one square towards
the Viking village. You can, of course,
also move the pirate ship.
• Lake monster Nessie?
Take a jewel from any Viking ship and place
it on Nessie. If no ship has any jewels loaded
on it at that moment, nothing can be placed
on Nessie.
A ship reaches the Viking village:
Once a player moves the yellow, red or blue ship to the
landing stage of the Viking village, the jewels of this ship
are now placed for auction.
This player makes a bid. He places in front of him any number
of equipment cards of the matching color and announces their
total value. Or he decides not to bid any cards (=pass his turn).
Then the next player in a clockwise direction either ups the bid
or passes. Then the next player bids and so on, until the last
player of the round has made a bid or passed.
Important Viking rules
•
Each player may only bid equipment cards once per
round; cards must be placed in front of the player
•
The tri-colored equipment cards can be used as
jokers for any color. There is no limit to the number
of jokers played in one round.
The player who bet the highest total value gets all the jewels
from that ship. The equipment cards he used for the bid are
placed face up on the discard pile. The Viking ship is then
returned to the starting square.
The other players take their equipment cards back into their
hand.
