INSTALLATION
Siting the Stove
You need to remove the entire fire box assembly from the
carcass of the stove to access the holes for bolting the stove
in place.
3.6 To remove the firebox remove the 4 x black screws in the
firebox and lift the firebox clear (see Diagram 3).

3.7 Pull the firebox forward slightly and swing the left hand side
clear of the carcass.
3.8 Remove the firebox and put to one side.
Midi and Highline
For Midi and Highline versions of the F40 the base panel
must be removed.
3.9 Lift the panel up and out through the upper part of the
carcass (see Diagram 4).

Bolting down the stove
It is now possible to access the two tabs for bolting the stove
down (if required).
3.10 Position the stove ensuring all appropriate clearances are
observed.
3.11 Using a pencil mark the position of the holes in the fixing
bracket (see Diagram 5).

3.12 Remove the stove and drill the holes using a masonry drill.
3.13 Insert expansion plugs.
3.14 Reposition the stove and level it using the three levelling
bolts in the base.
3.15 Screw the stove down.
3.16 Replace the decorative base cover panel, if fitted.
REFER TO SITE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL FLUE
OPTIONS.
This stove is suitable for TOP or REAR flue exit.
REAR FLUE EXIT
3.17 Wall thickness: MIN = 200mm
MAX = 550mm
3.18 Unpack the adjustable flue assembly and terminal guard.
3.19 Do not lose the fixings.
3.20 Consider the final stove position ensureing you comply with
clearances required for the external flue, see Site
Requirements, Section 1.
3.21 Mark the vertical centre-line of the stove on the wall (see
Diagram 1, A).
