Unterhalt an der Maschine erfolgt, um Rost und

Verschleiß zu bestreiten. Der Unterhalt besteht

hauptsächlich aus Saubermachen und Einölen. Es reicht

aber nicht, nur das Ölkännchen zu hantieren. Sehr

regelmäßig - oft mehrmals während des Drehens - und

sehr sorgfältig müssen Späne und Abfall der

Maschinenunterteile entfernt werden. Sonst besteht die

Gefahr, daß dieser Abfall zwischen bewegende,

gleitende oder drehende Teile gerät.
