3.4 Manual operation gas control unit.

Open the control cover, the drawer on the hearth or pull out the frame on the bottom

towards you. The gas control unit will now become visible (see fig. 1.3/1.4).

3.4.1 Igniting the pilot flame

 Press button

A and hold it while turning it anti-clockwise from position

to position

. You will hear a click, and a spark will ignite the pilot flame (see fig. 1.1)

 If necessary, repeat above-mentioned action several times, until the pilot flame has

ignited.

 Hold the button down for approx. 10 seconds after the pilot flame has been ignited.

 Let go of the button, and check if the pilot flame does not go out.

 Turn button A to position

3.4.2 Igniting the main burner

 With button B the main

burner can be ignited or switched off manually, and the

flame height can be adjusted continuously.

Appliances equipped with a remote control may sometimes produce a rattling sound

during this procedure (fig. 1.1 ).

3.4.3 Extinguishing the pilot flame

 Use button B to sw

itch off the main burner.

 Turn button A to position

Warning!

If, due to any cause, the pilot flame goes out, wait at least 15 minutes

before re-igniting

the pilot flame.

Contact your installer if the hearth switches off regularly .
