La corretta installazione inizia dal sopralluogo.
Per scegliere la cappa devi conoscere:
La posizione e la distanza del foro d’uscita (tubazioni molto lunghe e con molte
curve ad angolo retto limitano l’effi cacia della cappa).

Integrità all’apertura
• Verificare l’integrità della cappa all’apertura dell’imballo.
• Assicurarsi che la cappa sia integra e non danneggiata nel trasporto.
• La cappa deve avere garanzia e manuale di istruzioni a corredo. Verificare la pre-
senza di eventuali optional (telecomando).
ATTENZIONE: Non installare la cappa se danneggiata. Farla sostituire gratuitame-
ne con una nuova, altrimenti si potrebbe dover pagare il servizio assistenza.
Non staccare le pellicole protettive prima dell’installazione.

Italian law 46/90 requires two aeration holes which communicate with the
external wall in the presence of gas-working equipment. (law 46/90).
Verifty the presence in your kitchen of:
1. an entrance hole for oxygenising the area, to be made in the lower part of the wall
of the room which communicates externally.
2. an exit hole for fume discharge, to be made in the upper part of the wall which
communicates externally (or in a chimney flue dedicated exclusively to this use).
If the hood aspirates, the exit hole can be used as a terminal conduit that carries the
air outside.
La legge 46/90 impone due fori di aerazione che comunicano con la parete esterna
in presenza di apparecchiature a gas (legge 46/90).
Verificare che nella tua cucina ci siano:
1. un foro in entrata per l’ossigenazione dell’ambiente da praticare nella parte bas-
sa della parete che comunica all’esterno.
2. un foro in uscita per lo scarico dei fumi da praticare nella parte alta della parete che
comunica all’esterno (o in una canna fumaria dedicata esclusivamente a tale uso).
Se la cappa è aspirante puoi utilizzare il foro d’uscita come terminale del condotto
che porta l’aria all’esterno.

When choosing a hood, you should know:
Product integrity
• Check the integrity of the hood upon opening.
• Make sure that the hood is in good conditions and has not been damaged during
transport.
• The hood must arrive with its guarantee and instruction manual. Verify the receipt
of any optionals (i.e. remote control).
ATTENTION: Do not install the hood if it is damaged. Have it substituted at no
charge with a new one, otherwise you may be required to pay for any service
assistance. Do not remove any protective films prior to installation.
