Connecting the Beer Keg to the Appliance
(Exception: Heineken kegs)
1. Open the dispenser lid by pressing the lid open button.
2. Use clean, cold water to ll the tank of the appliance up
to the MAX mark.
3. On the back of the beer tap you will see a button located
below the beer hose. Press this button to release the
cover (4). Lift the cover and bend the beer hose to the
side.
4. Place the keg with the mounted dispensing unit into the
tank of the appliance.
5. Put the beer hose back into the guide of the beer tap.
Close the cover by rst inserting the lug into the recess
on the beer tap.
6. Attach the beer hose to the beer connection valve of the
dispensing unit (10). You may slightly turn the keg, if nec-
essary. The click connection must audibly engage.
CAUTION:
Check the beer connection valve and ensure it is prop-
erly attached to the dispensing unit before proceeding
with the preparation.
Turn the pressure regulator to the “
position.
Inserting the Carbon Dioxide (CO
2
) Cartridge
(Exception: Heineken kegs)
1. Remove the holder for the
CO
2
cartridge (6) from the
clamps of the lid. Turn and
remove the holder.
2. Insert an unopened 16 g
CO
2
cartridge (with the
round bottom rst) into the
holder.

WARNING for frostbite:
When screwing it onto the thread, do not cover the
ventilation opening of the holder with your bare hand.
Use gloves to protect your hands. This will help to
avoid cryogenic (cold) burns, if carbon dioxide acciden-
tally escapes.
CAUTION: Pressure
Check the position of the pressure regulator! It
should be in the “
position!
Screw the holder with the CO
2
cartridge quickly and
rmly onto the thread, so that no pressure escapes.
4. Secure the holder with the CO
2
cartridge in the clamps
of the lid.
5. Plug the CO
2
feed valve onto the connector on the tting.
The click connection must audibly engage.
CAUTION:
The carbon dioxide supply line is thus opened. The
keg is pressurized.
Heineken Kegs
The Heineken kegs already contain carbon dioxide (CO
2
).
You do not need the pressure regulator or the CO
2
cartridge. The pressure regulator on the lid remains without
function.
1. Use the button to open the lid of the appliance.
2. Use cold water to ll the tank of the appliance up to the
MAX mark.
3. In the lid to the left of the
holder for the CO
2
cartridge
you will see a clamp. Attach
the hose of the CO
2
feed
valve to said clamp.
4. Loosen the cover (4) as
described above in order to
bend the beer hose to the side.
5. Now, place the keg in the tank of the appliance.
6. Connect the beer hose to the included adapter for kegs
of the Heineken brand. The click connection must
audibly engage.
7. Use a screwdriver to remove the green seal of the keg.
8. Fit the adapter to the Heineken keg.
9. Put the beer hose back into the guide of the tap. Close
the cover by rst inserting the lug into the recess on the
beer tap.
Disassembly:
If you want to remove the adapter
from the Heineken keg, press the
corrugated sides of the adapter
while you remove it. Otherwise the
adapter may be damaged.
