Current calorie consumption
Indicates the consumed calories in the course of the current practice up to now.
Value range: 0 – 999999 kcal
Total calorie consumption
Subfunction of “calorie consumption”
Indicates the total amount of calories consumed so far.
Value range: 0 – 999999 kcal
Current fat burn
Indicates the current amount of calories that were burned as fat.
Value range: 0 – 999999 kcal
Total value of fat burn
Subfunction of the function “current fat burn”
The upper display shows the total fat burn in percent relative to the total amount of calorie consumption
and the lower display shows the total amount of calories burned as fat.
Value range: 0 – 999999 kcal
Clock
Indicates the current time.
Value range: 00:00 - 23:59, resp. 00:00 – 12:59 (AM/PM; during AM the colon flashes)
Date
Subfunction of “clock”
The upper display shows the year, the middle display the day of the week and the lower display the
date (leap years are considered) in DD/MM (with 12h display as MM/DD).
2 GMT
Subfunction of “clock”
Indicates the time of a second GMT.
Stopwatch
The stopwatch is started and stopped by pressing the UM-button shortly.
The stopwatch is reset to zero by pressing the UM-button for 3 sec. (this deletes all lap and split times
as well).
Value range: 0 – 999:59
(Up to 10 min. the display shows M:SS:1/100 with the second colon flashing, up to 10 h the display
shows S:MM:HH, everything above shows as HHH:MM)
Split time / lap time
Press LL-button shortly
Subfunction during running stopwatch
Stops the current split and lap times: the upper display shows the lap time and the lower display shows
the split time for 3 sec. Up to 100 split and lap times can be stopped and saved. The split time is the
time since the start of the stopwatch, the lap time is the time since last stopping the split time, resp.
since last stopping the lap time.
Value range: 0 – 999:59
(up to 10 min. the display shows M:SS:1/100 with the second colon flashing, up to 10 h the display
shows S:MM:HH, everything above shows as HHH:MM)
Subfunction during stationary stopwatch
Press LL-button shortly
Displays the saved split and lap times with the particular numerator and the average heart rate of the
lap (and the percentage of the personal maximum heart rate).
At first the split/lap time is displayed, after 3 sec. the display changes automatically to the average heart
rate of the lap and the percentage of the personal maximum heart rate.
Pressing the LL-button again displays the next split/ lap time. Up to 100 split and lap times can be
stopped and displayed.
Value range: 0 – 999:59

shows S:MM:HH, everything above shows as HHH:MM)
Countdown
The countdown (or the heart rate or cadence time manager, if they are switched on) can be activated
by pressing the UM-button shortly.
Activating the countdowns
Press UM-button
After the activation, the HAC5 counts the time of the countdown backwards until zero is reached and
an alarm is heard. The countdown remains at zero then.
