Interval counter
Indicates the interval counter (when heart rate or cadence time manager is activated), which shows
how many times the interval was run through so far.
Battery warning display
Indicates the remaining battery capacity in %. When less than 30% is indicated then the battery should

7.3 Functions displayed in the lower display
Current heart rate
Indicates the current heart rate.
Value range: 20 - 250 bpm (beats per minute)
Note: The
HAC5 can only display a heart rate if the appendant transmitter belt is applied and the func-
tion is activated for this profile. The heart rate functions comprise a power down mode: the heart rate
receiver (in the HAC5) switches off automatically if there is no impulse received for approx. 10 minutes
(instead of the HF display, “HR: no TX” is displayed in the text line of the display). The heart rate receiver
switches on again when a search for a transmitter is initiated (e.g. when a new record is initiated or the
function “current heart rateis chosen again this functions has to be exhibited for at least 5 sec. in
the display).
Average heart rate
Subfunction of “current heart rate”.
The upper display shows the calculated average heart rate since the beginning of the current tour.
Value range: 20 - 250 bpm
The lower display shows the average heart rate relative to the personal maximum heart rate in percent.
Value range: 0 - 100%
Maximum heart rate
Subfunction of “current heart rate”.
The upper display shows the maximum heart rate during the recording.
Value range: 20 - 250 bpm
The lower display shows the average heart rate relative to the personal maximum heart rate in percent.
Value range: 0 - 100%
Recovery heart rate
Subfunction of “current heart rate”.
Indicates the recovery heart rate (see also chap. 8.3)
The upper display shows the heart rate measured when the function was started, the lower display
shows the recovery heart rate which is measured 3 minutes after starting the function.
Value range: 20 - 250 bpm
Training time below the set minimum heart rate
Subfunction of “current heart rate”.
Indicates the training time (in percent and in time) during which the heart rate falls below the set mini-
mum heart rate. The upper display shows the duration in percent and the lower display the measured
time.
Training time within the set heart rate limits
Subfunction of “current heart rate”.
Indicates the training time (in time and in percent) during which the heart rate was within the limits of the
adjusted heart rate limits. The upper display shows the percentage and the lower display the measured
time.
Training time above the set maximum heart rate
Subfunction of “current heart rate”.
Indicates the training time (in time and in percent) during which the heart rate exceeds the set maximum
heart rate. The upper display shows the percentage and the lower display the measured time.
Current speed
Indicates the current speed in km/h (resp. mph).
Remark regarding the ski speed: The computer converts the current descent into speed (the displayed
speed may involve a deviation of ± 10%). The steeper or flatter the slope the larger the deviation.
Value range: 0 - 199,9 km/h, resp. 0 - 124,2 mph
Average speed / maximum speed
Subfunction of “speed”
The upper display shows the average speed and the lower display the current maximum speed.
Value range: 0 - 199,9 km/h, resp. 0 - 124,2 mph
