If the keg is still not pressurised, pull briefly on the keyring on the safety
valve to be sure there really is no pressure in the installation.
If you hear a hissing sound, there is something wrong with the pressure
regulator. In this case, contact us immediately.
If you do not hear a hissing sound, close the pressure regulator. The CO2
cartridge may not be fully seated. Try screwing the gas cartridge further
in, then repeat the previous steps. However, under no circumstances
should you unscrew the cartridge unless you are certain it is completely
empty.
You will nd more details under ‘Changing the screw-t 16g CO2
cartridge’.
You have pressure in the keg, but it is much too high. This happens when
you rst tap the keg. Please see further details under ‘Step 3) Setting the
pressure’.
You have already dispensed one or two beers, but want to reduce the
pressure? Close the pressure regulator a little further, then pull on the
keyring on the safety valve to release pressure from the system.
There is a slight delay on the pressure regulator due to it automatically
readjusting between the upper and lower set limits for the desired pres-
sure.
