We strongly recommend that you read this manual completely before riding your bike for the first time. At the very least, read each point in this
section and make sure you understand them. If you do not fully understand a point, refer to the relevant section for further information.
1st Ensure that the bike is fully assembled and that all loose parts supplied have also been installed.
2nd Check that the chain is lubricated.
3rd Ensure that all wheels are properly fitted and all wheel fasteners are securely tightened.
4th Check that the wheels and the tyre pressure are correct.
5th Ensure that the saddle has the correct riding height and position and is not below the minimum mark. Check that all fasteners are
securely tightened.
6th Ensure that you have adjusted the height and angle of the handlebar to your sitting position (if applicable) and that it is not below the
minimum mark. Check that all nuts are securely tightened.
7th All extras or accessories must be correctly fitted and secured.
8th If your bike is a BMX bike with 360° rotor (Giro), ensure that the handlebar can rotate completely without cables (brake lines) getting in
the way.
9th Check that the brakes are functioning correctly. Make any necessary changes. The right hand lever should operate the front brake, the
left hand lever the rear brake. Ensure that you can comfortably reach and operate the brakes from your sitting position.
10th Ensure that the gear shift runs smoothly and that you can operate it comfortably from your sitting position.
11th Check that the front sprocket and pins are tight.
