Preparing the Appliance for Use
After switch-on, you will hear a single beep and all indicators
will light for about 1 second. This means that the appliance is
in a standby mode.
Touch Panel
All buttons are touch-sensitive. No force is required to
●
operate the panel.
When touching the buttons, use the entire surface of
●
fi nger ends, not just the tips.
A single sound will be heard each time a button is
●
pressed successfully.
Before use, make sure that the touch panel is dry, clean
●
and accessible (i.e. not obstructed by cutlery, napkins
etc). Even a thin layer of water may prevent operation
of the panel.
Operating the Hob

Switch on the hob with button. All indicators will
show „ ”.

Place your cooking vessel on one of the cooking zones.

Set the desired power level (1-9) using ,
buttons.

To switch off a cooking zone, set the power level to „ ”

or buttons.

Always switch off the appliance after use by
pressing

The appliance will automatically go to standby mode if no

cooking zone is used for 1 minute after switch-on.
HEAT INDICATOR
When using the hob for a longer period of time, the cooking
zone remains hot for a while after switch off. Symbol „
”
displayed on the power indicator for a given cooking zone
warns against touching the hot surface of the hob. The
symbol will disappear once the cooking zone has cooled
to a safe temperature. This feature also helps you to save
energy, as the cooking zone which is still hot may be used
for further cooking.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The hob is equipped with a built-in sensor for measuring
temperature levels inside the device. When acceptable
temperature value is exceeded, the appliance turns off
automatically.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF
When a heating zone is switched on but no operations are
performed with it by the user, it will switch off automatically
after the lapse of a default time depending on the power level
(see table below).

Three-Ring Cooking Zone
This feature is available for cooking zone IV which consists
of three heating rings – central ring (A) and peripheral rings
(B) and (C). Depending on the needs, each ring may be used
separately or all at the same time.
SWITCHING ON THE THREE-RING COOKING ZONE
FUNCTION

Switch on the hob with button. All indicators will
display „ ”.

Set the desired power level (1-9) using ,
buttons.

The central ring will switch on.

Press once to activate ring (B) on cooking zone IV.

Symbol „ ” and the selected power setting (e.g. ) will
blink alternately on the indicator.

Press again to activate ring (C) on cooking zone IV.
7
Symbol „ ” and the selected power setting (e.g. ) will
appear alternately on the indicator.
SWITCHING OFF THE THREE-RING COOKING
ZONE FUNCTION

If ring (B) on cooking zone IV is in use, press twice to
switch it off. The central ring will switch on

If ring (C) on cooking zone IV is in use, press once to
switch it off. The central ring of cooking zone IV will switch on.

After switching of the three ring function, the pre-selected
power setting (e.g.
