LOCK Function
The LOCK function enables you to lock all buttons except
and to prevent children from accidentally switching
on the appliance.

Press to lock the buttons „ ” will be displayed on
the time indicator.

To unlock the buttons, press and hold .
If the appliance is switched off with LOCK function on,
to switch it back on rst unlock the hob by pressing and
holding
, and then press button.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Remember to clean the appliance on a regular basis.
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Do not use steam cleaning equipment to clean the
appliance.
For
slight dirt, rst damp with warm water, then wipe dry
with a sponge.
For
persistent dirt, rst damp with warm water, then
wipe dry with a special sponge for cleaning glass
surfaces.
Clean
remains of limestone and other residue using
small amounts of a special ceramic glass cleaner or
white vinegar, then wipe with dry cloth.
For
sweets, melt aluminium and plastic, rst remove
by using a special scraper for ceramic hobs, then wipe
with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a ceramic glass
cleaner.

TIMER Function
The TIMER function can be used as:
countdown timer – in this case no action is performed
after the lapse of the preset time (cooking zones do not
switch off)
cooking timer – one cooking zone is switched off after
the lapse of the preset time

COUNTDOWN TIMER
Set the current time using TIMER buttons. Adjust time one
minute forward/backward by single press of

or to make 10 minute forward/
backward time adjustments (the counter goes back to 0 after
99). The time setting may be cancelled by pressing

at the same time „ ” will be displayed. After setting the
time, the indicator will blink for 5 seconds after which the time
setting is saved. After the lapse of the preset time, an alarm
will sound for 30 seconds and the indicator will display „ ”.
The COUNTDOWN TIMER function does not affect the
cooking process and cooking zone power settings.
COOKING TIMER
Set the power level for one selected cooking zone using
or
buttons (the power indicator will start to blink). Set the
time using
and timer buttons. The time is adjusted
one minute forward/backward by single press of
or
buttons. Press and hold
or to make 10 minute time
adjustments (the counter goes back to 0 after 99). The time
setting may be cancelled by pressing
and at the
same time („ ” will be displayed). After setting the time,
the indicator will blink for 5 seconds after which the time
setting is saved. A dot will be displayed next to a cooking
zone indicator to let you know that your time setting applies
to this particular cooking zone. The cooking zone will switch
off automatically when the preset cooking time has expired.
The COOKING TIMER works with one selected
cooking eld at a given time.
