The Edit Indicator (E) appears even though nothing has been edited.
The Edit Indicator may appear when parameter settings are changed as a result of knobs being
turned or the stage piano’s internal tone generator being played by an external MIDI device.
The backing track does not start to play when the [R/K] (Play / Pause)
button is pressed.
If you have selected a User Song for use as the backing track, ensure that it contains data.
Ensure that the [TRACK] button is turned on (i.e., the lamp is lit).
Ensure that the stage piano’s internal clock is being used for MIDI synchronization.
User Songs and Wave files cannot be recorded.
Ensure that there is sufficient memory available for recording a User Song internally or a Wave file
on the plugged-in USB flash-memory device.

Ensure that an empty User Song is available for recording (page 41).
If a Preset Drum Pattern or a Wave file has been set as the current Performance’s backing track, it will not be possible
to record over a previously recorded User Song. Instead, an empty User Song will be automatically selected. If,
however, no empty User Songs are available, you will need to free up some memory by deleting unneeded User
Songs or to set an unneeded User Song as the current Performances backing track so that it can be overwritten.
Sound input via a connected microphone cannot be heard properly.
Ensure that the [GAIN] knob has not been turned fully down.
Ensure that the [MIC INPUT] button is turned on (i.e., the lamp to its top-left is lit).
Data exchange with a computer is not working.
Ensure that the computers port settings are correct.
Ensure that the interface selected for the exchange of MIDI messages (i.e., USB or MIDI) matches
the actual physical connections that have been made (page 45).
Press the [UTILITY] button Jump to Page 6 by pressing the [6] button Turn Knob 3 to set the MIDISyn parameter to “int” or “auto”.
Press the [SONG SETTING] button Jump to Page 4 by pressing the [4] button MemInfo.
Press the [FILE] button Jump to Page 2 by pressing the [2] button Press Knob 3 (MemInfo) to display memory-related
information.
Press the [UTILITY] button Jump to Page 6 by pressing the [6] button Turn Knob 2 to set the In/Out parameter appropriately Press
the [STORE] button to store this setting.
