M-TUNE
Function: Permission/non-permission of Memory
tune
Available Values: ON / OFF
Default: ON
ON: Forwarding from the memory channel and the
home channel to VFO is permitted.
OFF: Forwarding from the memory channel and the
home channel to VFO is not permitted.
In the “Memory Tune” mode, you may freely tune off
of the memory channel. This is similar to VFO opera-
tion. Memory Tune operation will not alter the con-
tents of the memory channel, so long as you do not
over-write the contents of the current memory.
MEM GRP (MEMORY GROUP)
Function: Enables/disables the memory grouping
feature.
Available Values: ON / OFF
Default: OFF
When this Menu Item is set to “ON,” the 500 “stan-
dard” memory channels are partitioned into ten
Memory Groups, each holding up to 50 memory chan-
nels.
MEM TAG
Function: Stores Alpha-Numeric “Tags” for the
memory channels.
See page 62 for information on setting the “Memory
Tags”.
