extend further than the maximum length.
3. Turn the extension arm knob (6) clockwise to
tighten it and secure the extension arm into
place.
Adjusting The Roller Height (Fig. E, I)
1. Turn the workpiece support knob (3) on the col-
lar of the extension arm (4) counter-clockwise
to loosen it.
2. Raise or lower the roller (1) to the desired
height.
3. Turn the workpiece support knob (3) clockwise
to tighten it and secure the roller (1) into place.
Levelling the mitre saw stand (Fig. I)
The mitre saw stand is equipped with an adjustable
foot (24) to level the mitre stand if necessary. Turn
the adjustable foot (24) upwards or downwards to
level the stand. If necessary, use a spirit level to
check if the stand is level.
Using The end stop (Fig. I, J)
The mitre saw stand features end stops (5) which al-
low repetitive cuts to be made quickly and accurately.
1. Adjust the height of the workpiece support (2)
so that the lip of the end stop (5) is in line with
the work surface of the mitre saw.
2. Adjust the extension arms (4) to the desired
cutting length.
3. Place the end of the workpiece against the end
stop (5) and commence the cut.
Using the material supports (Fig. I)
The mitre saw stand is equipped with material
supports (25) to store material as wooden beams
and sheet material. This way, the material can be
quickly accessed whilst working behind the mitre
saw stand. The material supports (25) can be
simply folded outwards to use, and folded inwards
if not in use.
Transportation (Fig. K)
Risk of unsafe operation. Ensure proper
footing and use caution when rolling the
mitre saw stand to prevent tipping or loss
of balance.
1. Make sure the extension arms have been put
into to the most compact position (refer to
Adjusting The Extension Arms’).
2. Now fold the stand as described in ‘Folding the
stand’.
3. Lift up and hold the handle (8) as shown on
figure K.
Adjusting the Mitre saw mounting bar (Fig. L)
The mitre saw mounting bars (7) must be secure on
the miter saw stand. If adjustment is needed, use the
adjustable nut (26) to change the clamping tension.
To increase the clamping tension, turn the
adjustable nut (26) clockwise.
To decrease the clamping tension, turn the
adjustable nut (26) anti-clockwise.
5. MAINTENANCE
The mitre saw stand is designed to function
faultlessly for a long period and with a
minimum of maintenance. Extend its
lifespan by regularly cleaning the machine
and treating it correctly.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the mitre saw stand, preferably
after each use. Clean with a suitable proprietary
house- hold cleaner and a soft dry cloth. Do not
submerge your mitre saw stand in water or any
liquid for any reason. Do not use solvents (petrol,
alcohol, ammonia, etc.) as they will damage the
plastic parts.
Maintenance
Never use a damaged or broken clamping mitre
saw stand. Temporary repairs are not permitted.
Check the plastic feet of the mitre saw stand
before and after use of the mitre saw stand. Do not
use the mitre saw stand without the plastic feet or
when the plastic feet are worn. Always maintain
a visual control of the mitre saw stand before and
after use of the mitre saw stand.
Repairs and maintenance shall be carried out by a
competent person with suitable replacement parts.
Unapproved third party spares are not recommend-
ed and will void your warranty.
