Additional settings for park call groups

When a call is parked with a park call group, the system provides information to the user who has parked the

call about the extension on which the call is parked. You can choose:

l How long the system displays the extension on the user's phone

l Whether the user should hear an announcement of the parked extension.

These settings apply to all park call groups set up for your site.

Recalling to a hunt group

For each park call group, you can choose a hunt group to receive unanswered calls parked on the group. The

call can be recalled to the hunt group instead of the original user or only if the original user doesn't answer the

recalled call.

Assigning users to a park call group

You must choose the users on your site to assign to the park call group. The order of the assigned users is the

order the system uses when it searches for an available extension to park a call against. So, for example, you

can place the busiest or most senior users at the end of the list so they won't have as many calls to deal with.

Managing park call groups

To add a park call group

1. Select Site services > Park call settings and groups.

2. In Park call groups, select Add.

3. Enter a name for the park call group.

4. If you want to set up a hunt group to receive recalled calls for this park call group, select the hunt group

from Recall to alternative user.

5. Select whether you want the hunt group to receive recalled calls after first trying the parking user or

instead of the parking user.

6. Select Save.

You can then add users to the park call group.

To add or remove users

1. Select Site services > Park call settings and groups.

2. In Park call groups, select the park call group you want to change from Group name.

3. Search for users.

Only users not already assigned to a park call group appear in Available users.

4. Move the users that you want to add to this park call group to Assigned users.

5. Move the names up or down the list so that users who should receive most calls are at the top of

the list.
