Managing user services
Some user services can only be set up by an administrator. The instructions for these services are described in
the administrator part of this guide. All other user services can be set up by users or by administrators. The
instructions for these services are described in the user part of this guide.
Virtual users, such as hunt groups and auto-attendants. may have some user services assigned to them, such
as voicemail. As an administrator, you can set up these user services in the same way as you would for normal
users.
To change a user's settings
1. Select the required user from User.
Your view will change to the view that the user has when they select Call services in One Net Service
Portal. You can change any of the user's call services or select one of the other tabs to change profile or
desk phone settings.
2. To switch back from the user view to the site administration view, select Site.
To change a virtual user's settings
1. Select the required virtual user from Site services > Site services.
2. Select Call services.
3. To switch back from the user view to the site administration view, select Site.
Assigning alternative numbers
Each user can have up to 10 alternative numbers assigned to them. You can assign numbers from the range of
numbers that is allocated to your site.

1. Select the required user from User.
2. In Call services > Assign alternative numbers, select Edit.
3. Select a phone number from the list of available phone numbers or enter an extension number in
Extension.
If you enter a phone number, the extension number is shown automatically.
Deassigning alternative numbers
To deassign alternative numbers
1. Select the required user from User.
2. In Call services > Assign alternative numbers, select Edit.
3. Select None from the phone number list or delete the number in Extension.
