Preparing the appliance
for operation
Attaching the handle-
bar
Attaching the handlebar:
Loosen the
N= clamping lever. Fold up
O= handlebar, select the de-
sired handlebar position
and hold.
Alternately screw in
clamping lever and
28= knurled nut so that the
17= upper flange and the
18= lower flange are assem-
bled parallel and the
teeth mesh.
For the final fastening,
retighten the clamping
lever only.

Unplug the spark
plug socket before
performing any as-
sembly work.
Motorstop and blade
stop.
Warning: The blade
continues running
after the engine has
stopped.

with one hand at its highest
point when releasing
clamping lever N.
Following adjustment or
folding, the handlebar must
be fixed in position by
tightening the clamping
lever N.
The handlebar can be
adjusted vertically and laterally.
Fold the handlebar forwards
for cleaning, for space-saving
transport and for storage of
the machine.
