Note: Assemble the frying basket handles and ensure they are secure correctly before use.
1. Place the oil tank into the fryer.
2. Fill the oil tank to the appropriate level. The oil tank is clearly marked with the Minimum
(2.0L) and Maximum (2.5L) oil levels; do not attempt to fry with less than the minimum level
as this could cause damage and overheating to the unit. Do not over ll the oil tank as this
could cause the oil to spill when the food is placed in the tank to cook.
3. Turn the temperature control to the ‘0’ position and plug into the mains power supply
socket and switch on the socket. Press the On/Off switch to the ‘I’ position.
4. Turn the temperature control clockwise to the required temperature and the red power
light and green ready light will illuminate. This indicates that the unit is now on and heating
the oil.
5. Allow the oil to reach the required temperature before placing any food in the oil. This
is indicated by the ready light, which will go out when the oil has reached the required
temperature.
6. To turn the fryer off, press the On/Off switch to the ‘0’ position, turn the temperature control
to the ‘0’ position and unplug from the power supply.
7. Change the oil in your fryer after every 8 – 10 uses. When you do change the oil, never pour
it down the drain. Dispose of it safely according to the guidelines of your local council.
Note: Do not attempt to empty or change the oil when the machine or oil is still hot. Allow to
cool completely before cleaning or moving
Power and Ready light:
The red power indicator will stay on during use. The green ready light will cycle on and off as
the thermostat cycles to maintain the correct temperature.
Temperature Control Dial:
There is a temperature dial on the control panel.
The Temperature Control dial allows the temperature to be set to the type of food that you are
cooking. The temperature range that can be achieved by this controller is 150°C to 190°C for
perfect results every time.
Note: Never use the temperature control dial to switch the appliance off. Always switch off at
the wall socket and unplug.
Frying Basket With Folding Handle:
The folding handle on the frying basket allows you to raise and lower the basket whilst the lid is
closed.
When the basket is rst lowered in to the fryer and the lid is down, pull the switch on the handle
down. This will allow you to pull the handle down fully and t it into place on the body of the
fryer. To move the handle up,pull the switch down again.
Oil Tank Capacity:
The minimum and maximum ll levels are marked inside the oil tank.
Do not over ll the oil tanks as this could cause the oil to spill when the food is placed in the tank
to cook.
Minimum ll level: 2.0L
Maximum ll level: 2.5L
