NOTE! Note the measurement (A) required to be able to install and dismount the
propeller after assembly and to provide enough space for the folding propeller
when using a folding propeller.
1. Prepare the boat for the installation of the motor, making sure that the
required dimensions for the drill holes are correct.
2. Make sure that the distance (A) between the motor and the rudder blade is
at least 450 mm.

NOTE! Only work on the side of the compensator block that is in contact with
the boat hull. The side that is in contact with the mounting ange must not be
worked on.
1. Adjust the compensator block (1) so that the motor shaft (2) is perpendicu-

2. When adjusting, make sure that the contact surface of the compensator
block lies at on the boat hull.

TIP! The next steps require taking simultaneous actions on the inside and outside
of the boat. Enlist someone to help or prepare suitable supports to secure the
mounting ange to the hull while the nuts are installed inside.
The processing times of the sealant may be very short, depending on the sealant
used and the ambient conditions. Therefore, prepare all tools and materials and,
if necessary, carry out a trial test without sealant to ensure the best possible
result. Use the test to protect the surfaces on the hull and the mounting ange
that will not be treated with sealant and mask them with tape.
1. Prepare the surface of the boat hull, following the manufacturer's instruc-
tions for the sealant used.
2. Apply the sealant to the surfaces (1) and (2) of the compensator block (3).
3. Position the compensator block on the mounting ange (4), making sure
that the worked side is facing upwards towards the boat hull.
4. Apply sealant to the drilled holes in the boat hull.
5. Insert the mounting ange into the boat hull and hold it in position, observ-
ing the installation direction.
6. Quickly position the washers (5) and the nuts (6) on the bolts (7) and
hand-tighten both nuts so that the ange can sit on the boat hull.
7. Tighten the nuts (5) to 15 Nm.
