Before initial operation, test the function and safety
of the operator.
All the requirements regarding the safe operation of
the system must be met.
In the case of systems accessed by the public or
used in the automatic closing mode, a photocell must
be installed.
It is recommended that a warning light be installed.
IIn the closing phase the force when distance
X is less than 500mm may not exceed 400N;
X is greater than 500mm may not exceed
1400N.
This is achieved by using safety profiles:
up to 400kg tormatic 35/ 50
up to 400kg tormatic 35/ 70
up to 400kg ASO GE 365
up to 400kg Gelbau 003.10
up to 400kg Mayser GP50
up to 200kg ASO GE 245
up to 200kg Bircher EPE36/45
up to 200kg Gelbau 016.10
Further insertable profiles can be obtained from the
manufacturer on request.
Because of the force limit device integrated into the
operator, the main closing edge may only be
equipped with a passive rubber profile (without
evaluation function).
The safety distances are adhered to if:
x is greater than 500mm or
y is less than100mm and X greater than 200mm
If the safety distances cannot be adhered to, then
this area can be safeguarded either by using a
protective fence or by applying a force limit.
In the case of a force limit, the rear closing edge must
be safeguarded by a safety profile as is the case with
the main closing edge.
Additionally, the distance of the STOP-OPEN soft
run must be correspondingly extended. (Menu 8
value 3 or 5).
If secondary closing edges form, these must be
equipped with safety profiles
up to 300kg tormatic 35 / 50
up to 400kg tormatic 35 / 70
Other profiles used a resistor for terminating voltage
of 8k2.
If access to the gate is safeguarded by fencing, the
maximum opening width A has to be adjusted to
distance X.
X l 120mm less than 18,5mm
X less than 300mm less than 29mm
X less than 500mm less than 44mm
X less than 850mm less than18,5mm.
