3. Press the line button . The telephone number is dialled automatically as

soon as the radio connection between the base station and the handset is

established.

8.7.3. SEARCHING A MEMORY NUMBER

1. Press the memory button (The contents of memory 1

appear on the display).

2. Press the memory button again .

3. Each time you press the memory button , the display shows the

following memory number, each time followed by the corresponding

telephone number.

4. When you have found the desired telephone number, press the line button .

The telephone number is now dialled automatically.

8.7.4. ERASING A MEMORY NUMBER

1. Press the set button .

2. Press the memory button .

3. Press the number of the memory place (0-9) of the memory number you wish

to erase.

4. Press the set button .

8.8. CALL BARRING (ELECTRONIC LOCK)

The numerical buttons of the Butler 200 (except the set button can be locked

electronically so that outgoing calls are not possible any more.

8.8.1. ACTIVATE CALL BARRING

The key symbol appears on the display.

R e m a r k :

Incoming calls can still be answered, even when the electronic lock has been

activated.

8.8.2. DEACTIVATE CALL BARRING

The key symbol on the display disappears.

8.9. BABYCALL (EMERGENCY CALL)

Thanks to the babycall function you can program the Butler 200 so that a prepro-

grammed telephone number is dialled automatically when pressing any button,

except the set button.

The memory for storing baby-call phone numbers shares the same memory

location ‘0’ for storing a speed-dial phone number. That means that the telephone

number stored at memory location ‘0’ can be re-programmed either by the method of

programming a speed-dial phone number or by the method of programming the

baby call phone number.

8.9.1. ENTERING A BABYCALL NUMBER

1. Dial:

1 xxxx 42

2. “0” appears on the display.

3. Enter the desired telephone number.

4. Press the set button .

8.9.2. ACTIVATE BABYCALL
