BASE SETTINGS
9.3 Barring Outgoing Calls
You can to set the phone to restrict numbers that can
be dialed. Calls beginning with the numbers you
specify using this menu can not be dialed. You can set
up to 4 different restricted numbers containing up to
4 digits each.
To activate or deactivate a call barring number:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main menu
items.
2. Press the navigation keys to choose
BS Settings, then press the SELECT soft key.
3. Enter the current base PIN to access the BS
Settings menu, and press the SELECT soft key.
4. Press repeatedly the or key to choose
4:Call Bar, then press the SELECT soft key.
5. Press the or key to choose the barring
memory location, and press the SELECT soft key.
6. Press repeatedly the or key to choose ON
(barring enabled) or OFF(barring disabled), then press
the SELECT soft key.
7. If you select ON, enter the number you want to
restrict (up to four digits) and then press the SELECT
soft key.
8. To exit, press the key.
9.2 Deactivating a Handset
If necessary, you can clear the registration of a regis-
tered handset in order to stop its access to one or
more base units. Just follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main menu
items.
2. Press repeatedly the navigation keys
to choose BS Settings, then press the SELECTsoft
key.
3. Enter the current base PIN to access the BS Settings
menu, and press the SELECT soft key.
4. Press repeatedly the or key to choose
2:Release HS, then press the SELECT soft key.
The display shows all the handsets currently regis-
tered to the base.
5. Press the numeric key(s) related to the handset(s)
number(s) you want to clear the registration, then
press the SELECT soft key. The display of the hand-
set(s) which you have cleared the registration
show(s) UNREGISTERED and they cannot be used
anymore with the base.
