4.9 INSTALLATION OF THE “COAXIAL OUTLET” KIT (OPTIONAL)
If you have purchased the coaxial outlet kit (Optional) proceed as follows:
1) Loosen the two screws (P) and remove the side panel (Q) by lifting it
upwards.
2) Use pliers to remove the pre-cut profiles (R).
3) Fit the rubber collar (O) onto the outside of the combustion air exhaust
pipe of the appliance.
4) Insert the hose (N) in the rubber collar (O) and tighten it with the steel
clamp (M).
5) Fit pipe (L) to the smoke outlet of the appliance, and make sure that the
gasket is in place and tight.
6) Fit the connecting pipe (I) to pipe (L) that has just been installed, and
make sure that the gasket is in place and tight.
7) Fit the hose (N) to the connecting pipe (I) that has just been installed and
fasten it with the steel clamp (M).
8) Insert the flue pipe and return the side panel (Q) to its position.
ATTENTION: Make sure that every fitting is securely
fastened and tight.
4.10 DRAWING COMBUSTION AIR FROM OUTSIDE
The appliance is fitted with an intake to enable drawing in the combustion air directly from
outside the building. Remove the pre-drilled cover on the side (F) and connect the air intake
on the appliance to the exterior of the building with suitable piping, capable of resisting high
temperatures. The pipe’s length must be maximum 600 mm.
ATTENTION: The suction duct must be protected with a grid and never be
clogged. The protection grid, if installed, must be inspected and cleaned on a
monthly basis. Moreover, a suitable windbreak fitting must be installed in the
duct’s terminal.
