5. Positioning of ornamental log set (see page 11)
Position the ornamental log set exactly as shown in the illustration. Place the holes in the back logs of the set
over the pins in the bearing edge (back of combustion chamber) and subsequently lay the 2 rectangular logs
on the burner. Now position the remaining logs as shown in the illustration.
6. Fitting of glass window
Hang the glass window in the hinges. Close it and attach again with the two screws.
7. Fitting of the front to the combustion chamber /built-in casing
Place the front in front of the fireplace and attach it with the 4 screws: 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom behind
the service door.
6. DISMANTLING OF BURNER UNIT HV/LV AND FAN (HV only)
The burner unit and fan of a built-in appliance can be dismantled (the fan in the HV model only) without
having to take out the whole appliance.
This is done as follows:
1. Pull the fan plug out of the socket! (only in HV model)
2. Remove the screws with which the front is mounted (2 at the top and 2 at the bottom behind the service
door).
3. Loosen the screws with which the glass window is fixed and open the window.
4. Take the ornamental log set and the burner out of the fireplace.
5. Disconnect the two cable connectors for the outlet safety (on the left in the burner unit) and draw the
wire outside.
6. Close the main stopcock in the supply pipe and disconnect the burner unit from the pipe.
7. Pull the burner unit forward (be careful with the thermostat sensor).
8. Repair of the T.T.B. can be carried out in this phase, if required.
Dismantling fan system (HV model only).
In order to take out the fan, you must remove 3 screws at the back of the burner unit. The fan thermostat is
fixed with 2 screws to the partition at the right back of the burner.
Assembly is done in reverse order.
7. DISMANTLING OF T.T.B. BRACKET (see page 9 fig. 3)
Remove the two nuts and then take the T.T.B. bracket (3) out of the appliance with a turning motion, as
shown in figure 3.

  • Hi my versa lv fire would not stay lit, we have cleaned it and now it lights but only stays lit for about 30 seconds and goes out again. Does anyone have any advice? Submitted on 19-3-2022 at 12:34
