11. Battery

Attention: The product only works with power adapter.
•
CR2032 button cell is a back-up battery to maintain clock operation in the event of black-
out or other power failure.
•
In case of battery replacement, observe correct polarity (+ pole above).
•
Remove the battery if you do not use the product for a lengthy period.
12. Troubleshooting
Problems Solutions
No indication ➜ Connect unit to mains adapter
on the instrument
No DCF reception ➜ Press MODE button
➜ Wait for attempted reception during the night
➜ Choose another place for the instrument
➜ Check if there is any source of interference
➜ Restart the device as per the manual
➜ Set the clock manually
Incorrect display ➜ Move the FUNCTION switch to ‘NORMAL’.
➜ Use a pin to press RESET button
If your device fail to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you pur-
chased it.
13. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can
be recycled and reused.
Never throw flat batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste.
As a consumer, you are legally required to take them to your retail store or to
appropriate collection sites according to national or local regulations in order
to protect the environment.
