MONITORING DEVICE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Operation of the functions
Press the button to toggle between the time, distance, total distance, calories and heart rate functions.
Press and hold this button for 4 seconds to clear all function values except the total distance.
Scanning (SCAN): Press the button until the dash appears below „SCAN“; this dash appears in the
lower half of the screen, the screen shows TIME, DISTANCE, MILEAGE COUNTER, CALORIES and PULSE
alternately every four seconds.
Timer (TIME): Press the button until the dash appears below „TIME“; the screen will show the time.
Velocity (SPEED): Press the button until the dash appears below „SPEED“; the screen will show the
speed.
Mileage (DISTANCE): Press the button until the dash appears below „DISTANCE“; the screen will show
the distance travelled (in kilometres).
Total distance (ODOMETER): Press the button until the dash appears below „ODOMETER“, the screen
will show the total distance travelled.
Calories burned (CALORIES): Press the button until the dash appears under “CALORIES”; the screen
will show the calories burned.
Heart rate (PULSE): Press the button until the dash appears below „PULSE“; the screen will show the
heart rate. Grasp the sensors with both hands to measure your current heart rate. (Note: the value of
this function depends on certain circumstances).
RESET: Hold the button down to delete the time, distance, calories or heart rate values currently
displayed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. If there is no input signal for 4 minutes, the electronic display switches off automatically. When you
press the button or start pedalling again, the electronic display is re-activated.
2. If the display is incorrect, please re-install the batteries.
WARM UP BEFORE TRAINING
Warm-up and relaxation exercises:
A successful exercise program must include warm-up, aerobic, and relaxation exercises. You should
consider performing at least two to three training units per week. After a couple of months, you can
increase this to four or five. Warming up is an important part of your fitness training. Warm up before each
workout. A moderate warm-up can prepare your body for the more intense workout that follows.
Warm-up exercises can help warm up and stretch muscles, improve blood circulation and heart rate, and
deliver more oxygen to muscles, while also relieving sore muscles.
