During play
Press [ ] (backward) or [ ] (forward)
on the remote control.
Each press increases the speed of the search. There are five
speeds.
OR
Press and hold [ / ] or [ / ] on the
main unit.
The search speed increases in five steps if the button is held down.
You can turn this audio off if you want to (DVD-Video and Video
CDs only,
a
page 40).
Press [s] to resume play.
If pressed while a DVD or Video CD menu is on the screen, you
may return to the previous menu.
Note
While paused

¡The frame changes each time you press a button.
¡The frames change in succession if you press and hold the
button.
¡The frames also advance if you press [ ] on the main unit or
[t/ ] on the remote control.
To resume play
Press [s].
¡You cannot move backwards with video CD.
¡Only the motion picture parts of DVD-Audio are affected.
