o Frost protection: The room temperature is kept at 5°C to prevent frost.
o Comfort: Heat setting and temperature are adjustable according to your needs. Please follow
the segments „heat setting selection“ and „temperature setting“. If you do not choose a heating
setting and temperature, 2000W and 24°C are automatically set during the program.
• Turn off timer:
o In the preset program P1 you can activate a timer for the unit to automatically turn off. To do so,
quickly press twice. When the indicator flashes, set the time with the arrow keys from
0 to 24 hours. The setting will be saved after five seconds. When the indicator stops flashing,
the time starts to count down. When the time has elapsed, the unit switches itself off.
o To deactivate the turn off timer, quickly press twice. The indicator becomes grey.
o Note: If you press to switch the program, the turn off timer will not work. The indicator
becomes grey. The turn off timer only works in P1.
• Customized program UP:
o Press and select program UP. Press to start the customized program setting of UP.
You may set one to three program segments in comfort mode. The remaining segments of the
day will be in anti-frost mode automatically.
o At first, the display shows d1 (Monday). Activate the program setting of the first program
segment by pressing one of the arrow keys. The display shows 1 and the indicator flashes.
Press one of the arrow keys again to set the starting time. Please confirm with . After the
confirmation the program setting of the second program segment is started directly. The display
shows 2 and the indicator flashes. Please repeat the steps to set the second and third
program segments.
Note:
• During comfort mode in program UP, you may select the heat setting as well as
temperature, same as for the preset programs. If you do not select them, 2000W and
24°C are automatically set during the program.
• If you activate the program UP, but do not set any program segments, UP will function
like P1 and the unit will work in comfort mode the whole day.
o Please press to confirm your program setting of d1. When d1 is finished, d2 will
automatically appear on the display. Follow the same steps for the other week days d2, d3, d4,
d5, d6 and d7.
o Once all settings hae been made, the indicator stops flashing.
o Press and hold for three seconds and check the settings of UP:
▪ To call up the individual settings of a day, please press repeatedly.
▪ To switch between the days, press . Then press repeatedly on to call up each
setting.
▪ If no operations are performed within two minutes, the check of the settings is
automatically aborted.
o If you want to re-program UP, press , choose program UP, then press . Please
continue with the previous steps.
• Child lock function:
o When the unit is switched on, press both arrow keys simultaneously for three seconds to
activate the child lock. The display will show [ ] and will recover to the original display after five
seconds. During child lock, the keys don’t have any function. Instead, display will be showing
[ ].
o To deactivate the child lock, press both arrow keys simultaneously for three seconds again.
• Open window sensor:
o You can activate the open window sensor to prevent the appliance from heating for a longer
period when a window is open. When the unit is switched on, press . The indicator
flashes. To deactivate, press again and the indicator will disappear.
o If the temperature drops by at least 5°C within 30 minutes during the active open window sensor,
heating is interrupted. At the same time, the indicator stops flashing and is lit continuously.
To resume heating, close the open window and press . The indicator will flash again.
